Donald Goodner is a Scott County native and received his Bachelors of Science in 1965 and his Juris Doctor in 1968, both from the University of Arkansas. He has been in practice in Scott County since April 1968 and is licensed to practice in all Arkansas Courts and in all Federal Courts including the United States Supreme Court.

He has been highly ranked by Martindale-Hubble for the past 35 years and again received their Client Distinction Award for service to clients with a perfect 5.0 rating.

He was one of several attorneys involved in writing the Standards for Examination of Real Estate Titles in Arkansas, both the 1995 and the 2000 edition, is a member of the Real Estate Section of the Arkansas Bar and has been a past chairman of the section.

He was a speaker at the Arkansas Bar Association real estate seminar in 2000, a speaker on small town practice for the bridging the gap seminars for new attorneys and also a speaker for several programs of the Arkansas Land Title Associations and also served on the Board of Directors of Arkansas Title Insurance for several years.

He is also District Judge of Scott County, having served since 1987 and is a sustaining member of both the Arkansas Bar Association and the Arkansas Bar Foundation.
