Our Experience at Scott County Title Corporation

We have been in business in Scott County continuously since Donald and Sherry Goodner formed the corporation in 1977. Sherry Goodner is now retired, but Donald Goodner is still involved in the day-to-day operations of the corporation. He started doing title work in 1957 while still in high school, working for his parents Norman and Dorothy Goodner in Scott County Abstract Company.

Beth is a Licensed Abstracter and a Licensed Title Insurance Agent. She is a 1994 graduate of Arkansas Tech University and has been actively involved in insuring titles and closing transactions since graduation.

Vanessa has worked with us since 1977 and keeps our manual and computer tract records current and also monitors and handles the production of the final title policies after the transaction has been closed.

Nikki is our receptionist/legal assistant, having worked with us since 2012. She coordinates the various court dates and makes certain that each case is properly prepared for presentation to the various courts, as well as scheduling appointments and production of the various legal documents for the law practice.
