Our History at Scott County Title Corporation

Scott County was one of the original counties when Arkansas became a state in 1836. The courthouse was burned by the Federal Army during its occupation of the county. While the records had been removed for safekeeping, they were later destroyed in the fire of May 22, 1882.

EagleScott County Title Corporation was formed in 1977 by Donald and Sherry Goodner and is the successor to Scott County Abstract Company which was formed in the 1950's and was owned and operated by Norman and Dorothy Goodner.
